Kitty Intakes

If you have a kitty you would like us to take, we ask that you please bring a flyer w/pictures and descriptions of the cat(s) to our shop. We have a board where people can hang flyers of kitties that need to be adopted and we intake cats from the board as space allows. We are using this as our waiting list because we are a very small organization and, therefore, very limited in space. The StreetCats shop is located at 6520 E. 60th St. and we are open Tuesday through Saturday 10:30 to 5:00. (We do not take feral cats because they usually need to be barn cats and we do not have any barns for them.)

If you would still like to contact us about a kitty, you may contact us via email (cats@streetcatstulsa.org) or message phone line (918.298.0104) and someone will respond to you in a timely manner.

However, we do ask that you please consider the other options listed below.

Animal Organizations & Options

	Other Animal Organizations: Click here for a list of local animal organizations that also do kitty rescue; one of them might be able to help you sooner.
	Newspaper: Just do not say free cat(s), always charge at least $25 (helps screen out questionable characters). Check references of adopters: we call a vet and 2 personal references; do not be shy to do the same.
	http://www.petfinder.com/: You can post pictures and information about your kitty online. We have all our StreetCats on there and you can check references.
	Flyers: Besides our StreetCats Shop, you can hang flyers at vet offices, Southern Agriculture, PetsMart, work, etc. Again, check references.
	Vets: Check with several vets; they will sometimes take cats and adopt them out to good homes.
