Lacey is a 9-month-old female blue, cream, and white tabby who arrived as a stray. She is very social, loves people, and is not timid. She is playful and will play-bite, but she knows the word “no.” She gets along with some cats and is probably a non-aggressive alpha. She has not been around children or dogs.

Babydoll is a three-year-old black-and-white long-haired beauty who was found as a stray roaming a neighborhood with her two kittens. Her foster describes her as “sugar and spice” wrapped up in one cat: sometimes grouchy, other times craving attention. She likes playing with cat toys, eating, and cozy sleeping spots. She also enjoys being petted on her back and neck but not her belly. She gets along with some cats and tolerates dogs.

Chloe was rescued as a young kitten and has been an indoor cat ever since. The original family that rescued her could no longer care for her. She has lived with two children, four dogs, and two adults. Chloe is sweet, loving, playful, and outgoing. She loves human attention. She would do best as an only cat in a home with human companionship most of the day, as she does not like being alone.

Buttercup is a one-year-old female cream tabby who was taken in as a stray. Her foster parent described her as sweet, quiet, and playful. She tolerates cats, but her behavior toward dogs or children is unknown.

Strudel is a 14-month-old female blue tabby who was found outside with her brother when they were about 4 months old. They were brought inside, but the other cats in the house did not get along with them, so they were kept separate. Strudel is outgoing and loving once she is comfortable with you. She is very energetic and playful, enjoys feather wands, toys that roll and wobble, and playing with feet and shoes. She also likes to be petted from the neck to the tail but does not like to be picked up. She does better with a shallow water bowl or fountain. Her behavior toward dogs or children is unknown.

Schnitzel is a 14-month-old male blue tabby who was found outside with his sister when they were about 4 months old. They were brought inside, but the other cats in the house did not get along with them, so they were kept separate. Schnitzel is shy, quiet, and reserved. He prefers to let you know when he wants attention by rubbing against your legs. He loves feather wands, food puzzles, and toys he can bat around. He also loves looking out of windows, watching the birds. He does not like to be picked up, but he does like the back of his neck rubbed. He is motivated by food and toys. His behavior toward dogs or children is unknown.

She is very sweet and friendly, but other cats seem to make her nervous.  She prefers Purina EN dry food and likes creamy seafood wet food.  Adopted 8/2021 and returned 9/2022 due to peeing outside of litter box but she wasn’t on medicine consistently.  Owner loved her but decided to return her.  She uses a “regular” litter box that has clay litter in it, but she occasionally will pee on a puppy pad.  She is on Fluoxetine to reduce stress and hopefully keep her from peeing in places other than the litter box.  Fluoxetine is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily.  This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator and is easy to give.  The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks.  This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now.  She would love to have a home of her own as the only pet in the home.
