CAT GALLERY - UPDATE HERE
ZANE
Zane came into StreetCats on 10/24/2025. He is a blue boy with an estimated birth date of 10/15/2023 and he weighs 12.28 lbs. He was a loved outside cat in a person’s backyard but he wasn’t kept inside because of her other cats. He is a very lovable, loyal, and smart good beautiful boy. He’s adjusting to being in StreetCats and once he gets used to a person he wants to near them and spend a lot of time being petted. He had his teeth cleaned and polished before coming in. He’s going to be a wonderful loving cat for someone without other pets.
CASSIE
Cassie is an adoption return from 2017 because her owner entered hospice. Cassie has been living in an assisted living room with her former owner for 5 years and she stayed in that room the entire time. She is estimated to be about 9 years old and is fully vetted. The daughter of her former owner said she’ll be a wonderful companion for an older person. Since she’s been with only one person in a room for the last 5 years we assume she’ll need some time to adjust being in StreetCats. She loves being in a cat tree and she has a good appetite.
ZOE - we have an approved adoption applicant once she can be adopted
ON HOLD FOR A POSSIBLE IODINE TREATMENT IN THE FUTURE TO ELIMINATE HER HYPERTHRYOIDISM, BUT SHE’ LOVES ATTENTION NOW.
Zoe is a smaller size Silver Tabby, estimated birthdate is 5/14/2014. Her adopter who loved her very much died of cancer on 8/8/2025. She is a very sweet girl so losing her mom and being returned to StreetCats is hard but she’s slowly coming out of her room. She does have hyperthyroid disease so she gets ½ of a small methimazole pill by mouth morning and night but she’s used to getting it. She has not lived around other cats, children, or dogs but her mom loved her very much so she needs a new loving home.
PEACHES
She’s our house cat.
She is very sweet and friendly, but other cats seem to make her nervous. She prefers Purina EN dry food and likes creamy seafood wet food. Adopted 8/2021 and returned 9/2022 due to peeing outside of litter box but she wasn’t on medicine consistently. Owner loved her but decided to return her. She uses a “regular” litter box that has clay litter in it, but she occasionally will pee on a puppy pad. She is on Fluoxetine to reduce stress and hopefully keep her from peeing in places other than the litter box. Fluoxetine is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily. This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator and is easy to give. The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks. This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now. She would love to have a home of her own as the only pet in the home.
WANZA
